Before going back to work, nothing compares to a great time in the spa to recharge your batteries and be peaceful!
Some time ago, I gave you my favorite beauty spas or salon in Paris and New York. This time, I tested the Villa Pompéi in Metz, in the East of France – 2 hours of spa followed by an ayurvedic massage with Reiki of 1 hour and 15 minutes.
The spa section, called ‘agora thermale’, includes several pools with directional jets, jacuzzis, sauna, sanarium and hammam. I love being in the external pools, eyes closed in the water under the sun.
Fyi, the Villa Pompéi does not accept children, which makes it a quiet place.
The treatment I chose is the Ayurvedic massage with Reiki of 1h15. I wanted a long treatment to totally let myself go – this one was definitely the right one! I love ayurvedic massages, which are based on Indian massage techniques to feed the body and spirit.
The Reiki was brand new for me and I wanted to test it. This is a Japanese technique that consists in laying on hands to unblock energy tangles. Don’t worry, the practitioner won’t play too much with your energies and will leave this task to a magnetizer for example. The practitioner will here lay his hands on the body parts he feels need some help, and it works.
Total relaxation, true happiness!
